A title match as part of the NXT tour of the United Kingdom ended in a bloody no-contest. Kayla Braxton interviewed Ruby Riot on Facebook live through the WWE NXT page and discussed the match and its abrupt ending. Riot needed five stitches to close the wound.

I went in thinking that Asuka was going to, for lack of a better term, play fair," Riot said.

Keeping strictly in character, Riot noted that seeing Asuka resort to smashing her into the steps showed that “there is fear there. That's her biggest fear, losing the NXT Women's Championship. ... As much of a negative as this was, as soon as the blood started to pour, the match was immediately called. It showed me a different side to Asuka, which I think, in the future, I can use to my advantage."

NXT's tour of the United Kingdom concludes this weekend with events Saturday and Sunday as the Download Festival continues.

As for Asuka, her undefeated streak continues.
