Rey Mysterio no longer being advertised for a show during WrestleMania weekend is sure to spark a few discussions.
Rey Mysterio has been in the headlines since his surprise return at the #27 spot in the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble match. There have been swinging reports regarding Mysterio's status with the WWE that has left the wrestling world in the dark about what's next for the "Master Of The 619".
The most recent report came from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, who noted that Mysterio was backstage during this past Tuesday's SmackDown Live working out a deal with the WWE and that also, at WrestleMania 34, a match between John Cena & Mysterio could be on the match card. Conflicting with that report came from PWInsider noting that Mysterio was not backstage at SmackDown Live and that the potential match between the two former WWE Champions at "The Grandest Stage Of Them All" is not confirmed.
Rey Mysterio no longer being advertised for the CRASH Wrestling event on April 6th, is sure to cause quite the commotion seeing as how WrestleMania is two days later on April 8th.
Mysterio, nonetheless has a busy month ahead before WrestleMania, as he will be competing at CRASH Wrestling's event on March 17th, and has a rematch 20 years in the making at NJPW's 'Strong Style Evolved' event against Jushin Thunder Liger on March 25th.
