Action Bronson Says He 'Threw A Little Lure' To 'Stamford'

Rapper Action Bronson made his in-ring debut at AEW Rampage Grand Slam 2022, teaming with HOOK against 2point0 (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker).

Bronson is one of many celebrities who have crossed over to the world of wrestling, and he's open for another opportunity to get into the ring.

"Bad Bunny? Come on. Travis [Scott]. We have history. These motherfuckers don’t know how to wrestle. I wrestled. I sold out the motherfucking Arthur Ashe Stadium. I was ready to frog splash off the top, but they didn’t want to take the bump. They didn’t want to take the face-buster. I got all kinds of videos," Bronson told Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour.

Asked about potentially called "Stamford," referring to WWE, Bronson replied, "I threw a little lure out there."

Bronson was also asked about potentially wrestling for GCW at Hammerstein Ballroom.

“I need the lights. I need the lights. I’m not trying to get shards of glass in my neck and shit like that, bro. I’ve been to one of those deathmatches in Japan. That shit’s crazy. It queases me out when I see those lightbulbs bring crashed onto people’s heads. I can’t imagine that fucking feeling. I went backstage and I saw one of the guys, his back was demolished. It’s not fire. I’d rather see some hurricanranas," he said.

HOOK uses Bronson's song "The Chairmen's Intent" as his theme in AEW.

Elsewhere during the interview, Bronson said AEW never called him back after his Grand Slam match. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
