Adam Cole makes a heartbreaking announcement.
An injury update on Cole was provided by 'Bay Bay' himself on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite. Cole cut straight to the chase and revealed that his ankle basically exploded at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, as he broke it in three different places and tore multiple ligaments. Cole also revealed that he'll need surgery for the injury.

As a result, Cole will no longer be able to compete at the WrestleDream pay-per-view. Instead, MJF will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Righteous in a handicap match.
It is currently unknown how long Cole will be out of action. Fightful will update fans when more information is made available.
After Cole made his exit from the ring, Jay White made his way to the ring. White and MJF traded shots on the microphone for good while, with MJF saying that White is all hype and that he's Tofu. White responded by saying that he's been ruining MJF's life from a distance for a while now, and that he's ready to ruin it up close and personal.
"SHUT UP MAX!"
