Cole would later reveal that he broke his ankle and needed surgery.

Cole reportedly had surgery earlier in October. He's remained on AEW television, appearing in vignettes with Roderick Strong and The Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven).

Taking to social media, Cole thanked fans for their support.

It is unknown when Cole will return to the ring.

He is still one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with MJF, who has defended the titles alone.

Fightful will continue to update fans on Cole when more information is known.
