Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano And Shayna Baszler vs. Io Shirai Official For NXT TakeOver: XXV

Two matches made official for NXT TakeOver: XXV.

With the location now set and the event less than a month away, Triple H announced two title matches for NXT TakeOver: XXV. First, Adam Cole will get an NXT Title rematch against current champion Johnny Gargano. Gargano defeated Cole in a two-out-of-three falls classic at NXT TakeOver: New York to win the vacant NXT Title.

Also on the card will be Shayna Baszler looking to keep her dominant NXT Women's Title reign going when she faces Io Shirai. Baszler successfully ran Shirai's tag team partner Kairi Sane out of NXT and Io will be out for revenge and Baszler's title. This will be the first one-on-one meeting between Baszler and Shirai on NXT television.
