Adam Copeland Undergoes Successful Surgery For Fractured Tibia

Adam Copeland has undergone surgery.

In a new Instagram video, Adam Copeland confirmed that he has undergone surgery for his fractured tibia. He has be seen on crutches wth his foot and ankle wrapped in the video.

Copeland does a plank in the video, saying he is just 12 hours out of surgery.

Copeland competed against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match at AEW Double or Nothing. During the match, Copeland climbed to the top of the cage and delivered an elbow drop onto Black, who was lying on a table, wrapped in barbed wire. Copeland came down hard on his legs, but finished the match. He was visibly limping after the bout.

Copeland won the match and retained his AEW TNT Championship, but had to relinquish the title due to his injury.

It is unknown when Copeland will return to the ring.
