An AEW World Championship rematch has been set for All Out.
Following Jon Moxley's shocking defeat of CM Punk on the August 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW has officially made a championship rematch between the two official for the All Out pay-per-view. The match comes after Moxley laid out an open contract for a title match at All Out. Punk, after being rallied by the Chicago crowd and Ace Steele, eventually would go on to sign the open contract.

This will be Jon Moxley's first defense since becoming the undisputed AEW World Champion last week. Before that, Moxley was considered to be an interim AEW World Champion after he defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
CM Punk, who won the AEW World Title at the Double Or Nothing show back in May, was away from the company for over two months after he revealed he was dealing with a foot injury on June 3. Punk would go on to make his return to AEW on August 10. As previously mentioned, Punk lost a championship unification match on the August 24 episode of Dynamite in a shockingly quick manner.
