AJ Styles and LA Knight will meet again.
AJ Styles and LA Knight will clash on the April 19 episode of WWE SmackDown with the winner earning a shot at Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE Backlash.
Styles and Knight won triple threat qualifying matches on the April 12 episode of WWE SmackDown to set up the showdown next Friday.
LA Knight earned his spot by defeating Bobby Lashley and Santos Escobar. The bout saw Legado Del Fantasma (Berto & Angel) and the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) get involved. In the end, Knight hit the BFT on Escobar for the victory.
Styles earned his spot by beating Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio. The finish saw Styles hit a middle rope Styles Clash on Rey onto Owens, and then pinning Mysterio.
