AJ Styles says the Superstar Shakeup is about new match ups.
Next week's Raw and Smackdown have been announced as the two night Superstar Shakeup where talent will be exchanged between the brands of WWE. In an interview with The Overnight Crowd, WWE Champion AJ Styles talked about all of the positive effects of the shakeup.
"I think the shakeup is always a good thing. New talent coming over; new matchups happening. That's what we need that's why there is a shakeup. There's several guys that could come back over to Smackdown or guys from Smackdown that go to Raw. Who knows what's going to happen? When there's a shakeup, it's to make matches people want to see" said Styles.
On Smackdown this week, Styles got his chance at one of those unseen WWE match ups in a singles match against Daniel Bryan. The match ended when his WrestleMania 34 opponent Shinsuke Nakamura got physically involved.
