The main event of MLW Never Say Never is set.
During the May 2 episode of MLW Underground, Major League Wrestling shared the news that MLW Never Say Never will air live on FITE TV on July 8. Court Bauer had already announced the move on Busted Open Radio, but the broadcast included the update that MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone would defend the title against Alex Kane at the show.
MLW Never Say Never will be held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 8.

Kane earned a title shot by winning the Battle Riot match, which aired on the April 25 episode of MLW Underground. In the battle royal, he last eliminated Davey Boy Smith Jr. to clinch the victory. Kane will cash in his opportunity at Never Say Never against Hammerstone, who previously won the Battle Riot and later defeated Jacob Fatu to win the title back at MLW Fightland 2021.
Hammerstone is currently dealing with a torn adductor muscle, but he noted that he will return to the ring later in May. More information is available here.
