And new!
At IMPACT Against All Odds, Steve Maclin put the IMPACT World Championship on the line against Alex Shelley. The Motor City Machine Gun won a six-way match at Under Siege to become the number one contender, and over the past number of weeks has expressed his intent to prove that he is a better wrestler than Maclin.
Maclin and Shelley closed the show at Against All Odds, and in a surprise ending, it was Shelley who would pick up the victory. After utilizing an exposed turnbuckle, he was able to hit Shell Shock and pin Maclin to win the World Title for the first time in his IMPACT career. This ends Maclin's reign with the belt after 54 days. Maclin won the belt in April at Rebellion against KUSHIDA.
It turned out to be a great night for the Motor City Machine Guns, as Shelley's partner, Chris Sabin, defeated Trey Miguel to win the X-Division Title.

Earlier in the night, Nick Aldis won the 8-4-1 match, making him the #1 contender for the IMPACT World Title. As it stands, he and Shelley will battle for the belt at Slammiversary.
