Some unfortunate news for Alexa Bliss.
After weeks of built up frustration and anger Nia Jax was finally able to get her hands on Alexa Bliss after Bliss has unleashed a number of verbal attacks directed at her. Following losing the RAW Women's Title to Nia Jax at WrestleMania 34 Bliss invoked her rematch clause for the championship and set it for last night's 'Backlash' PPV. The insults that Alexa Bliss dished out to Nia over the past number of weeks leading up to their rematch came back to bite her.
For the greater portion of the match "The Irresistible Force" dominated "Little Miss Bliss". The close of the match between the two saw Nia Jax hit a "Samoan-Drop" onto Alexa Bliss for the three count as Nia retained her RAW Women's Championship.
The sports-entertainment company then announced via Twitter that Alexa Bliss suffered a left shoulder injury at some point during the match with Nia Jax and Bliss is currently awaiting further medical evaluation.
