Alisha Edwards Announced For Women’s Wrestling Army Debut Show On 5/1

Alisha Edwards is coming to WWA.

Women’s Wrestling Army announced that IMPACT Wrestling star Alisha Edwards will be part of their inaugural event on May 1. However, whether or not she'll be competing in the squared circle is uncertain as Alisha Edwards is labeled on the Instagram post as an "Official Brand Army Exclusive Interviewer."

TNA Wrestling Programming Listed On Sportsnet 360 Schedule In 2025

A previous press release for the upcoming event noted that “The project will come complete with episodes featuring original matchups, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes access. A steady stream of mini-documentaries for the new promotion will also be included which will be based off of the same vision as the highly successful 2021 "This Is Women, Wrestling" documentary that received rave reviews.”

BrandArmy is also the name of the platform where Cassie Lee, Jessica McKay, Sonny Kiss, and more have been providing exclusive content to their fans.

As for other non-wrestlers booked for the card, doing commentary for this event will be Lenny Leonard, who is best known for his time calling Ring of Honor, and Alyssa Marino.

You can see Maria Kanellis’ first promo and mission statement for the new organization at this link. Bobby Cruise of ROH is also on board with this project, helping Maria run things.
