Akira Tozawa will have some backup on the November 7 episode of WWE NXT.
Akira Tozawa joined Alpha Acacemy (Chad Gable, Otis, and Maxxine Dupri) on the October 23 episode of WWE Raw. Tozawa then stole Noam Dar's NXT Heritage Cup on the October 24 episode of NXT. At NXT Halloween Havoc Night Two on October 31, Tozawa pressured Dar into giving him a shot at the NXT Heritage Cup on the November 7 episode of WWE NXT.
Tozawa competed on the November 6 episode of WWE NXT, as he answered Shinsuke Nakamura's challenge. Nakamura scored the victory, but Tozawa's Alpha Academy stablemates gave him some good news later in the show. Gable told him that he and Otis would be coming with him to NXT on Tuesday to show their support in his match against Dar. It was not specified whether Maxxine Dupri would also accompany them.
Tozawa previously competed in the NXT Global Heritage Tournament; Butch ultimately emerged victorious.
Fightful will have live coverage of WWE NXT as it airs on November 7.
