Otis and Chad Gable have turned heel.
On the February 19 episode of WWE SmackDown, Rey and Dominik Mysterio faced the Alpha Academy (Otis and Gable), however, the match was cut prematurely short following a pair of crushing slams from Otis to Rey. The referee called a stop to the action, disqualifying the Alpha Academy teammates.
After the bell sounded, Alpha Academy continued their attack on the WWE Legend. The team had lost their last two televised matches to The Street Profits and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, respectively. Prior to that, they had been seen training with Daniel Bryan for the Royal Rumble.
