Andrade Beats Baron Corbin, Retains WWE Speed Championship On 7/24 WWE Speed

On the July 24th episode of WWE Speed, Andrade defended the WWE Speed Championship against Baron Corbin. Andrade gained the upper hand early on, and he kept rolling with a dive to the outside. Corbin rallied and grounded Andrade. Andrade fired up with a flying forearm. He floored Corbin with a tornado DDT. Corbin responded with a Brainbuster for a two-count.

In the end, Andrade countered the End of Days into a crucifix for the win.

Corbin previously defeated Angelo Dawkins to advance to the next round of the tournament. The tournament match between Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes went to a time-limit draw, so Corbin advanced to the finals.

WWE announced that a new #1 Contender's Tournament would begin on the July 31st episode of WWE Speed.

Andrade defeated Ricochet to win the WWE Speed Championship, and he has defended the title against Xavier Woods.
