In 2017, Zelina Vega and Andrade were aligned in NXT, leading to a fruitful partnership between the two.
Vega would help lead Andrade to the NXT Championship, a reign that lasted 140. They continued their act on the main roster with Andrade going on to win the United States Championship.
They were unceremoniously split in November 2020 when Vega was released by the company. Andrade would be released in March 2020.
Andrade, now going by Andrade El Idolo, is now in AEW and aligned with Vickie Guerrero. But he wouldn't mind a reunion with Vega.
“I would love it if she was with me. I cannot speak about it that extendedly due to multiple stuff going on, but I would love it if she joined soon or in a close future," Andrade told Lucha Libre Online (translation via Luis Pulido).
On the June 18 episode of AEW Dynamite Andrade said he and Vickie Guerrero had a surprise. They were seemingly set to make an announcement on the June 26 episode of Dynamite but were interrupted by Matt Sydal.
