Angelo Dawkins: I Would Like To Hold Tag Team Gold With Montez Ford While Working On Singles Accolades

The Street Profits discuss the road back to gold for them in WWE.

Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford are among the few tag teams that have held gold in WWE on all three brands. However, it has been over three years since The Street Profits have held any gold. Ford and Dawkins have a new target: The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu, who are now holding the WWE Tag Team Titles on WWE SmackDown.

The Street Profits recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, and Montez Ford has his sights locked on another tag team championship run with his partner.

“Any time you get to call yourself a WWE champion, you know that you are at the top of your profession,” said Ford. “The chemistry that we have is off the charts, and when, not if, we get ahold of the WWE tag team titles, they will be ours for a long time.”

On the other hand, Angelo Dawkins also wants to work on some singles accomplishments while keeping an eye on the tag team division's top brass.

“We are brothers in and out of the ring,” said Dawkins. “I would like to hold tag team gold with Montez while working on some singles accolades, as well. Tez brings that crazy agility to the ring and his personality sets him apart, he gets me hyped.”
