Angelo Dawkins Names His Dream Tag Team Match In WWE

Angelo Dawkins’ dream match is a present-day take on an all-time classic.

The Street Profits, the tag team of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, are one of the top tag teams in WWE but undoubtedly, The Usos and The New Day have been running the tag team division for the last decade. Angelo Dawkins would like the opportunity to determine who is the top tag team in WWE once and for all, and he wants to do it in a match type that, in the past, has put three bona fide Hall of Fame tag teams on the map.

In a new interview with USA Network’s USA Insider, Dawkins said his dream match would be a TLC Triple Threat Match against The Usos and New Day in a contest for “all the marbles.”

“I gotta pick a stipulation too. Let’s go with TLC for all the marbles, us versus The New Day versus The Usos,” he said. “That would be my dream match. I mean you’ve got The New Day and The Usos, they’ve been carrying the tag team division for years. We were in NXT for the majority of that time, but we were all watching each other. I remember The New Day watching us, even The Usos back when they were cool before they became The Bloodline. All three of us have been at the top now, taking the world by storm so all three of us, the best tag teams, settling who is the best out of them all.”

22 years ago, Edge & Christian, The Dudley Boyz, and The Hardy Boyz made TLC matches famous and catapulted their career to new heights in the process. However, none of those teams ever had the longevity as Tag Team Champions that The New Day and The Usos can claim. Currently, The New Day, the triumvirate of Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods, is the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time. However, Jimmy and Jey Uso are within striking distance of breaking that record and creating more history for The Bloodline.
