Apollo Crews is on Raw one night after WrestleMania 36.
Crews appeared on the April 6 edition of Raw, coming in as a "draft pick that was about to expire," whatever that means. Crews made his surprise return to WWE's red brand where he took on Aleister Black in a competitive match. Despite a lengthy, back-and-forth match that saw Crews nearly pick up the victory, it was Black who walked out the victor.

This is Crews' first match on Raw since October 7, 2019, when he lost to Ricochet. Since then, Crews was a part of the SmackDown roster, last competing on the March 6 episode, losing to Sheamus in quick fashion.
