Arn Anderson Comments On Doing One Last Match

In July, Ric Flair wrestled his advertised last match when he teamed with Andrade El Idole to defeat Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett.

In November, Ricky Steamboat will return to the ring to wrestle in his potential last match when he teams with FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) to face Lethal, Brock Anderson, and a mystery opponent. Arn Anderson will be in the corner of his son, Lethal, and the mystery man.

Appearing on Highspots Live Virtual Gimmick Table, Anderson was asked about potentially doing a last match.

"I had my last match back in 97. When the doctor said 'quit wrestling, quit walking,'" Anderson said before giving a big shrug.

Anderson stopped competing full-time in 1997, but did have two short matches in 2000. His last match is listed as being on the May 17, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder when he teamed with Ric Flair to defeat David Flair & Crowbar.

He retired due to neck and back injuries.

When asked who he would want to give one last spinebuster to, Anderson said, "How about I spinebuster myself so I can see what everyone has been complaining about all these years."

Anderson is signed to AEW where he works as a coach and producer while managing his son Brock on television.
