Ash By Elegance has a point.
Ash, formerly known as Dana Brooke, won the WWE 24/7 Championship 15 times. Nikki Cross beat Brooke to win the title on the November 7, 2022, episode of WWE Raw. In a backstage segment after the match, Cross tried to drop the title into a trash can, but she missed, to the belt landed on the floor. Cross then walked away from the title, and it was subsequently deactivated.
During a virtual signing with Highspots Superstore, Ash By Elegance noted that she was a 15-time WWE 24.7 Champion. She was asked to comment on who was the WWE 24/7 Champion now.
"It should be me because the title didn’t make it into the trash when they tried to get rid of the title. Nikki Cross tried to throw it into the trash can, and it didn’t go in. So I’m still the champion, technically [laughs]," Ash said.
WWE released Ash in September 2023, She then signed with TNA and debuted at TNA ard To Kill 2024.
TNA recently announced that Ash By Elegance had re-signed with the company. More information is available here.
