600 days down and potentially forever to go. Athena is still the ROH Women's World Champion.
As of July 31, 2024, Athena has been the ROH Women's World Champion for 600 days. She originally won the title from Mercedes Martinez at the ROH Final Battle 2022 on December 10, 2022.
During her reign as champion, Athena successfully defended the title against Skye Blue, Willow Nightingale, Red Velvet, Billie Starkz, Nyla Rose, Hikaru Shida, and others.
Her latest successful title defense came against Queen Aminata at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024.
Athena is also the second champion in Ring of Honor history to cross 600 days in a single championship run. Samoa Joe held the ROH World Title for 645 days between March 22, 2003, and December 26, 2004.
Athena, always looking to challenge herself, says she wants to headline an all-women pay-per-view pitting the best of All Elite Wrestling against the best of Ring of Honor. Read her comments here.
Athena also says she's open to a future singles match against Ronda Rousey. Read those comments here.
Congratulations to Athena on the milestone. Fightful continues to follow her title reign weekly with live coverage of ROH on Honorclub.
