Since his release from WWE in the summer of 2017 Austin Aries has made the rounds on the pro wrestling scene appearing for numerous companies and promotions. Aries' travels have not been one of any other independent wrestler as he is carrying around a number of championships representing various promotions and companies as their top champion.
Austin Aries has even been dubbed the "Belt Collector" and continued to live up to the nickname as of last night when he added another championship to his collection defeating Shane Strickland to become the new DEFY Champion.
"The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" is now the holder of the DEFY, IPW: UK World, IMPACT Grand, IMPACT World, and WSW Heavyweight championships.
In two weeks at IMPACT Wrestling's 'Redemption' PPV Austin Aries will be defending the IMPACT World Championship in a Triple-Threat match against Fenix and Pentagon Jr.
