WWE has successfully launched WWE Vault and WCW Vault channels on YouTube that include full PPVs and never before seen footage.
In a feature article on The Verge, it was confirmed that an ECW Vault channel will be coming soon.
Encouraged by Vault’s success, WWE has recently launched a dedicated channel for WCW, the wrestling promotion that it famously spent decades competing against and eventually acquired. Soon there will be another for ECW and its extremely brutal events.
WWE Digital team leader Steve Braband said, “It’s a clear destination telling fans where to go."
The WWE Vault has ECW footage on its channel as part of ECW week a few months ago.
“The current product on our main channel seemed to be outpacing a lot of what we were doing from a historical perspective,” said Braband. “So a few of us sat around and said, ‘our historical content still means a lot to us on YouTube.’”
It is unknown when the ECW Vault channel will officially launch.
