Austin Aries on a rant.
The current IMPACT World Champion Austin Aries has become the self-dubbed "Belt Collector" since being released from the WWE last summer. In the following months after the breaking news of Austin Aries' release from the sports-entertainment company, Aries made the rounds on the interview circuit and made various podcast appearances and voiced his thoughts about the spot that he was in while a part of WWE.
Aries has voiced his opinion about WWE once again and mentioned two of their contracted wrestlers. The WWE Network Twitter page posts daily highlights from moments throughout WWE's history and recently a clip was uploaded which featured Austin Aries after his match with No Way Jose at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II in 2016. Austin Aries was successful in that bout and following the match he was "put to sleep" by Hideo Itami who was returning from shoulder surgery.
Austin Aries caught a glimpse of the clip and decided to add his comments to it and noted that he was rewarded with an attack from Hideo Itami after giving No Way Jose what he feels was the best match of Jose's career. Aries closed with asking what has either Hideo Itami or Jose done since that 2016 match/moment.
