Baron Corbin says he's fighting like hell for the opportunity.
October 8th marked the anniversary of WWE Hell in a Cell 2017, where Baron Corbin won the WWE United States Championship. He emerged victorious in a Triple Threat Match that included AJ Styles and Tye Dillinger.
Corbin took to Twitter/X to respond to a fan who highlighted his title win and said it needs to happen again. He replied by saying that he agreed. Corbin wrote that he just needed the opportunity, and he was fighting like hell for it.

LA Knight currently holds the WWE United States Championship. He won the title by beating Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam.
Corbin has not wrestled on WWE television since the August 30th episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Apollo Crews lost to Angel and Berto. He has competed at a few dark matches in recent weeks.
