Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley want to face each other at WrestleMania.
Becky Lynch confronted WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley on the January 15 episode of WWE Raw. Ripley had come to the ring to send a message to her potential contenders ahead of WWE Royal Rumble, as she told them that challenging her at WrestleMania would only waste their opportunity. Lynch interrupted the champion and compared the paths they had followed up to this point. She spoke highly of Ripley while also highlighting her own success.
Lynch then stated that she thought Ripley might be better than her, and she needed to prove that was not the case. The former champion expressed her intent to win the Royal Rumble and dethrone Ripley at WrestleMania 40. Ripley responded by saying she wanted to see Lynch win the Royal Rumble. She then ended the showdown by telling "The Man" that she would see her at WrestleMania.
