The Man wants another WrestleMania main event under her belt.
Back at WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch featured in the first ever women's main event of the Showcase of The Immortals. Lynch would walk out of that match as a double champion. Now, in 2024 ahead of WrestleMania 40, Becky believes she deserves another WrestleMania main event, this time with Rhea Ripley.
While speaking to Love Wrestling, Lynch noted that she 'absolutely' should main event WrestleMania 40 night one.
"Absolutely. Why wouldn't I? I am the Man. I am the Man. I'm always going to say that I should be the main event. The Man is right here. Because I am the main event."
Lynch has made it clear since before the 2024 Royal Rumble that she had her sights set on a bout with Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's World Title. Now, she must win her first Elimination Chamber match this weekend to earn that opportunity.
