Becky Lynch realized three years deep into her major.
The SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch is seemingly on top of the mountain in WWE at the moment. Despite whatever she does or says to anyone on WWE TV, the fans stick behind her and cheer her until she leaves their sights. Becky has been jarring back and forth with her fellow WWE comrades on Twitter as of late; most recently exampled by her exchanges with WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and her Survivor Series opponent - the RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.
"The Irish Lasskicker" is no longer abiding by the rules and is looking to establish her own. In the lead-up to WWE 'Evolution', Becky Lynch went on a media run that was hectic but she stated over each one of those platforms that this is the position she has always wanted to be in. During that media run Becky joined Sam Roberts on the 'Not Sam Podcast' in studio and the two chatted about the Last Woman Standing match at 'Evolution', Becky quitting wrestling and other topics. One of the topics that the two parties discussed was when Becky attended clown college for three years. She stated that when she thought of how children play "make-believe", it made her realize that she did not need a degree to do what she was in school to do.
"I studied the art of clown. There was an expression on your face that I didn’t appreciate. There with the art of clown [Becky talking to Sam Roberts]. It’s quite an art… I did my thesis on the art of clown and how it leads to a truthful performance.” She continued, “Absolutely. My conclusion is that it’s all make believe, and so little kids play make believe, and they go in and they play Doctors or whatever and they really believe they’re a doctor and clowning is just clowning around and making believe. So what they hell are we doing with this acting degree? Can’t you just play, basically? After three years of doing my degree, I concluded. This is all nonsense, what the hell. We’re just playing make believe.”
