BEEF reflects on wrestling Gangrel in Major League Wrestling.
BEEF has been making waves on Ring of Honor TV alongside Anthony Henry, but in 2021, he was part of Major League Wrestling. During his time there as Gnarls Garvin, he got to wrestle former WWE Superstar Gangrel. Now, he's reflecting on the experience.
Speaking on The Shining Wizards Wrestling Podcast, BEEF credited the veteran for having more energy than he did and says he allowed Gangrel to simply call the match in the ring while he trusted him and listened.
"I was with them in ’21. There were bookings happening and we were taking flights to get to wrestling matches, so it felt like we were (at the end) of the pandemic. It was short-lived. It was what it was. It was cool because I got to wrestle Gangrel. I can’t complain. He’s awesome. He was awesome in the ring. He has the energy of a 20-year-old kid. He went. He had more gas than I did. I trust guys like that (who want to call it in the ring). They’ve been doing it longer than I’ve been alive. I was listening."
BEEF can be seen most Thursdays on Ring of Honor. Fightful has live coverage of ROH every Thursday.
Gangrel recently appeared at AEW Double or Nothing 2024, helping Adam Copeland defeat Malakai Black. Learn more about his appearance at that event here.
