Beth Phoenix wants to punish Rhea Ripley.
Phoenix and Ripley have been feuding for months, as the WWE Hall of Famer has been on Edge's side of his rivalry with the Judgment Day (Ripley, Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio). Edge founded the group, and he was initially aligned with Ripley, but the group turned on him when Balor joined in June 2022. Ripley and Phoenix have crossed paths before, as "The Eradicator" attacked her during Edge's "I Quit" Match with Balor at WWE Extreme Rules 2022.
Following that bout, Edge and Phoenix were absent until they returned at WWE Royal Rumble. Edge competed in the battle royal and eliminated Balor, Priest, and Mysterio, but the stable eliminated him from the match. They then attacked him at ringside, but Phoenix showed up and took the fight to Ripley.
Phoenix and Ripley then traded shots on Twitter. The legend vowed to drag Ripley to hell, while the powerhouse responded by saying that Phoenix is in her playground now. "The Glamamother" fired back by stating that playgrounds are for children, and shes's going to punish Ripley.
Playgrounds are for children. And KID….Mother is back to punish you. https://t.co/xC5F8Ry7SL

Later in the show at WWE Royal Rumble, Ripley won the Women's Royal Rumble Match to earn a title shot of her choosing at WWE WrestleMania 39.
Ripley subsequently stated that she temporarily dislocated her knee during the match. Check out her comments here.
Phoenix recently commented on potentially returning to the ring. Click here to see what she had to say.
