Big Cass and Enzo speak.
This past weekend at Northeast Wrestling's Six Flag's Slam Fest, CaZXL (formerly Big Cass in WWE) issued an open challenge to anyone in the back. The challenge was answered by Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose in WWE). Moxley picked up the victory, hitting CaZXL and nZo (formerly Enzo Amore in WWE) with the Dirty Deeds.
Following the bout, CaZXL spoke about his past year and facing Moxley over the weekend.
“I did not sign up to fight Jon Moxley. He’s fresh off a 5-day a week schedule with WWE, he’s at the top of his game, he just made waves at AEW’s Double or Nothing," stated CaZXL. "The guy is at the top of his game, he’s at the top of the world, he’s got all the momentum in the world. Of course, he is gonna beat me. The last time people saw me, I was fat, I was drunk, and I was out of shape. I was on the floor, going to the hospital because I had a seizure. My life was falling apart. Mental health issues, I was an alcoholic, all that. Six months later, I’m 300-fucking pounds; I’m a tank. I’m shredded. I’m in the best shape of my life. Nothing’s gonna stop me; I’ll tell you that. I’m man; I’ll admit that I lost. But I’ll tell you this, in a year Big Cass, CaZXL, whatever name [is] being used will be the biggest name in professional wrestling or sports entertainment. Tonight was just the beginning.”
While CaZXL cut a promo, nZo took to Instagram to reflect on the moment.
CaZXL and nZo are currently free agents, though it looked like they were on the verge of signing with ROH following their appearance and brawl with The Briscoe Brothers at ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard.
