Big E praises Carmelo Hayes.
On August 24, WWE shared a clip of Big E and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes doing a photo shoot together.
Big E took to social media and praised Hayes. He called the NXT Champion a star and stated that he looks forward to his main roster main events and world titles.

Hayes won the NXT Championship by defeating Bron Breakker at NXT Stand & Deliver 2023. He defended the title against Wes Lee on the August 22 episode of WWE NXT. Hayes made history in his match against Lee, as it marked the first time two Black WWE Superstars competed in the main event for the NXT Championship.
