Big E is proud to befriend the King.
Big E is on a career-high as the current WWE Champion. However, Big E is also on a high because one of his closest friends, Xavier Woods, achieved his own lifelong dream and became the 2021 WWE King of the Ring at WWE Crown Jewel.
As Big E’s first televised WWE title defense was up next, he was right at the curtain to congratulate and hug his brother on achieving his dream and speaking to Metro, Big E recalled the moment and just how proud he is of Xavier Woods’ accomplishment.
"When he came through the curtain, I was the first person there, and getting to hug him and just tell him how proud I am of him was just such a beautiful moment. This man has wanted this for so long, he’s been tweeting about it, he’s been talking about it for years and years. I’m so grateful that he’s getting to live out this dream,’" the champ said.
