Naomi has a rough night on May 31.
By all accounts, Naomi was just trying to be a good friend on the May 31 WWE SmackDown.
After watching one of her best friends, Bayley, get attacked by Piper Niven and Chelsea Green in the opening segment of the show, Naomi was ready to tell WWE SmackDown Nick Aldis that she wanted to team with the current WWE Women's Champion against her two attackers.
When Naomi got to Nick's office, she was greeted by Blair Davenport who had been in discussion with the GM. Their interaction was brief as Naomi wanted to get down to business. Still, Davenport made it clear that she would not soon let Naomi forget who she was.
The night didn't get any easier for Naomi as she was pinned by Chelsea Green in the aforementioned tag team match after Piper Niven squashed her with a Senton.

Davenport was drafted to WWE Friday Night SmackDown from WWE NXT in the 2024 WWE Draft. Naomi recently made her return to WWE Friday Night SmackDown after spending a year with TNA Wrestling.
