This win was praised by many fans around the world of wrestling, with most noting that Green was the perfect choice for the first Women's United States Champion.

As it turns out, Brad Gilmore and Booker T both agree with this take as well. On the latest edition of the Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T said thatGreen has been going out there and performing at the highest level possible every single night.

“You just hit it on the head. She deserves it. It goes back to that saying, do the job, and do the job to the best of your ability until something else comes along. That’s what Chelsea’s been doing. She’s just been going out, doing the job every single night, to the best of her ability, win or lose. It hasn’t been about that. It’s been about her going out and performing at the highest level she possibly could every single night. If everybody adopted that same sentiment, they would put themselves in a better place, they would put themselves in a better position to win, more importantly than anything. That’s what this business is about. Everybody can’t be on top at the same time. But if you’re doing your job, you’re putting yourself in a position to perhaps one day be on top. That’s the only thing you can really ask for."

Elsewhere in the podcast, Booker T responded to fan backlash towards the TNA return of Tessa Blanchard. Check out his full comments on the matter here.
