Booker T is ready to see Evans vs. Page III.
NXT Roadblock will be the host of the third singles match between Je'Von Evans and Ethan Page, as the two stars will sqaure off in a New York City Street Fight.
On the latest edition of his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T told Brad Gilmore about his love for Je'Von Evans, saying that he has a ton of upside at only 20 years old.
“Don’t count out Je’Von Evans and Ethan Page, New York City street fight. Man, I want to see what Je’Von Evans brings to the table. I love this kid, man. He’s got so much freaking upside as far as how far he could take his career. He’s 20 years old with an abundance of talent. He’s only going to get bigger, he’s only going to get better, he’s only going to get smarter. I think about how good he is right now at 20 years old, I wasn’t even thinking about wrestling at 20 years old, c’mon. You know, being in the locker room, that’s such a responsibility for that kid.”
Booker T continued on and praised Ethan Page, saying that he filled the hole in NXT when a number of big stars left for the main roster.
“I’ll tell you — Ethan Page, he’s done a hell of a job as well. He’s really done a hell of a job. I said it when he first came into NXT — a lot of guys were exiting, Carmelo Hayes and a few other guys. I said Ethan Page is a guy that filled that hole very well, he’s been doing a hell of a job. As far as being real, Ethan Page brings that to the ring. That’s going to be a good match.”
