Booker T comments on what fans should expect from the upcoming WWE LFG: Legends & Future Greats reality series on A&E.
WWE LFG will premiere on Sunday, February 16, on A&E. It is part of the next season of WWE Superstar Sunday and will be comparable to WWE's earlier Tough Enough series. Triple H and Shawn Michaels will make regular appearances, as will legends Bubba Ray Dudley, Booker T, Mickie James, and The Undertaker.
Booker T recently chatted about the upcoming series with Jon Alba from The Takedown on SI. When asked about the differences between WWE LFG and WWE Tough Enough, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer said fans can expect to see more of an in-ring aspect with this series and should also prepare to see displays of the raw emotion that professional wrestling evokes.
"I think, being able to see so much more than just the competition in-ring, you know, challenges, stuff like that," said Booker T. "You're going to get a chance to see the emotion, the real true raw emotion to where, there again, so many people wonder about wrestling. But seeing it from this perspective, they're going to perhaps second guess and go, 'wow, this is something totally different than I perceived it to be for so many years."
Booker T also suggested that the series might inspire some wrestling fans to see if they have what it takes to make it in the squared circle. If that is the case, Booker would surely prefer would-be trainees to check out his Reality of Wrestling school.
