That was out of nowhere Book.
Prior to the 'Money In the Bank' PPV there was an hour-long Kickoff show which kick-started on the WWE Network at 6 PM EST. On the panel was the host Renee Young, Peter Rosenberg, David Otunga, and WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T. 'Money In The Bank' did emanate live from Chicago, IL and the Chicago faithful is known to not hold back their opinions when it comes to the wrestling that stops through their city.
Whenever the sports-entertainment company is in "The Windy City" a "CM Punk" chants breaks out during the show but the crowd was hot before the actual event started and the chant rang throughout the 'Allstate Arena' while the kickoff panel were discussing the forthcoming action that was taking place later that night.
As Booker T heard the chants of "CM Punk" he decided to comment on Punk's UFC 225 loss to Mike Jackson and stated the following:
"Look we saw CM Punk, try to run in the UFC and try to take it over, that boy got the breaks beat off of him just a couple weeks ago," said Booker T.
Another individual who had a few things to say about CM Punk following his UFC 225 bout was Booker T's former broadcast colleague Corey Graves. Fightful's own Sean Ross Sapp reached out to Graves and Graves explained why he made the comments that he did on social media about the man who he once considered to be one of his best friends.
