Brandi Rhodes Reveals That Leva Bates Is Her Right-Hand Woman, Talks Leva's Role As A "Coordinator"

Brandi Rhodes elaborates on Leva Bates' role in AEW.

Formerly known as "Blue Pants", former SHIMMER Tag Team Champion Leva Bates was assigned the role of "The Librarian" of All Elite Wrestling along with Peter Avalon. Both Avalon and Bates have had various librarian-based segments on Being The Elite and had a featured slot on AEW's Double Or Nothing show. Her on-screen role is not all that Leva has on her plate as she also works closely with Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes.

Ricochet: I Want To Win The AEW Title, But My Main Goal Is To Create Art That Will Last A Lifetime

Brandi Rhodes joined Busted Open Radio with Mark Henry and Dave LaGreca to chat about AEW's women's division. Rhodes shared that she noticed several people in AEW finding their right hand so she decided to find her's and that turned out to be Leva Bates. Brandi said that when she becomes overwhelmed or is too busy with a project, it feels good to be able to pass that work load or task over to Leva.

“I definitely see how it could turn that way really quickly." Brandi said of dealing with various people and it becoming overwhelming. "So I’m usually pretty proactive beforehand and, once I saw that other people were kind of starting to use other people to help them and to kind of become their right hands, I picked my right hand really quickly, and I don’t think a lot of people know this -- I don’t think it’s very public, but my coordinator for the brand is Leva Bates. She works right with me on everything. So whenever I feel like I’m getting a little overwhelmed or I got a little too much going on, I’m really comfortable just pulling Leva into whatever the project is and saying, ‘Hey, I have to focus more on this project. I’m putting you in charge of this one’, and she’s done a really great job so, it’s been really easy to let go of some of that wanting to do everything all the time and allowing Leva to step in and do some of the work.” Brandi shared.

AEW will reveal their Women's Championship at All Out in August and on June 29th at Fyter Fest, the women's division will be represented in a Three Way match involving Yuka Sakazaki, Nyla Rose and Riho.
