Britt Baker says she has no interest in taking the AEW Women's World Championship from Jamie Hayter.
Currently, there is a divide in the AEW women's division between the homegrown stars and the women that have debuted for the promotion after working for other companies. Alongside names like Riho and Willow Nightingale, Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker are seemingly on the homegrown side, as both women really made a name for themselves in AEW.
Many fans of All Elite Wrestling have recently speculated about the future of the partnership between Hayter and Baker, as Hayter currently holds the AEW Women's World Title, something that Baker has held in the past. In a new interview with DraftKings, Baker put that speculation to bed, noting that she recognizes that it's currently Hayter's time to be at the top of the division.
"Jamie Hayter is my girl. She has the championship title. I am not interested in stripping that off her because this is her time. I want to face everybody because I think our women’s division is on the way to being one of the best in the world. Bring them on. Bring them all on."
Hayter is set to defend the AEW Women's World Title on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. Fans can learn of Hayter's opponent by clicking here.
Baker's boyfriend, Adam Cole, is set to return to the ring on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite. This will be Cole's first match since June 2022. Fans can see a full preview for Dynamite by clicking here.
