Trent Beretta Returns; Rocky Romero Turns Heel, Assists Beretta In Wrench Attack On Tomohiro Ishii

Trent Beretta is back.

The April 16 edition of AEW Collision saw a shocking return, as Trent Beretta appeared after the conclusion of a tag team bout between the Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander & Konosuke Takeshita) and The Conglomeration (Tomohiro Ishii & Rocky Romero).

Beretta picked up where he left off in 2024, reaffirming his relationship with Don Callis. Beretta was shockingly able to convince his former tag team partner, Rocky Romero, to make the turn as well, prompting him to assist Beretta as he smashed Tomohiro Ishii with a wrench.

Beretta's absence from AEW lasted over 250 days, as he underwent neck surgery in August 2024.
