Brock Lesnar Arrives Late; Wins Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match

The Beast has the briefcase.

Brock Lesnar wasn't scheduled to be in tonight's Money in the Bank ladder match, but that didn't stop him from showing up and winning the match. Lesnar, taking the place of Sami Zayn, who was taken out earlier in the night, arrived in the closing moments of the match, just as it seemed as if Ali would be the man to take home the briefcase. As Ali was at the top of the ladder, Lesnar's music hit, distracting Ali from unhooking the briefcase. Lesnar sprinted to the ring, prevented Ali from winning, and grabbed the briefcase for himself.

By unhooking the briefcase, Lesnar now has a guaranteed title shot at the WWE or Universal Title.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Lesnar is scheduled to compete at WWE Super ShowDown on June 7. WWE reportedly kept Lesnar hidden backstage with only a few people knowing he was there. Earlier in the night, Kofi Kingston successfully retained the WWE Title by defeating Kevin Owens. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins, the man who defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, defeated AJ Style to retain the Universal Title.

Other highlights from the match, which also featured Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Andrade, Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, and Ricochet.
