Bron Breakker Doesn't Like His Goldberg Tattoo, Does Like Goldberg

Bron Breakker has drawn comparisons to Goldberg early in his career due to their similar style, demeanor, and the arm tattoo.

When Goldberg burst onto the scene in the late 90s in WCW, his barbed wire arm tattoo was popular among wrestling fans, with many growing up and wanting the same design.

Breakker, the son of Rick Steiner, followed suit.

"I liked Goldberg growing up. He's one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, but I wish I didn't have the tattoo," Breakker told Ryan Satin on Out of Character. "The similarity, I was 18 at the time when I got it. It was a mistake. It is what it is. He was one of my favorites growing up. I had a few favorites, Triple H was probably my all time favorite. My dad [Rick Steiner] and uncle [Scott Steiner] too. A lot of guys."

Elaborating on the tattoo, Breakker said, "Mine is not the exact same. I don't like it.

When asked if he's going to get it covered at any point, Breakker replied, "Probably. That's not a priority right now, I'm not worried about it. I'll get around to it, whenever I do, not really super concerned with it. I'm sure I'll get something to go with it. We'll see. I'll get around to it one of these days."

Breakker was born one month after Goldberg made his WCW Nitro debut and though he doesn't recall his early time with the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, the two have gotten close over the years as Breakker began his journey to pro wrestling.

"He's watched quite a bit," Breakker said when asked about Goldberg keeping tabs on him today. "I saw him at WrestleMania too, during that weekend, we talked for a little while. We talk quite a bit, every couple of months, we'll touch base just to see how things are going. He's been great. We have a lot of similarities, he obviously played longer in [the NFL] than I did, but we both...I had that same mentality in football, I was a super intense football player and wrestler. It's always been who I am. It's not like I watched him and got that from him, it's just been who I am. The Steiners were intense and I was always that way growing up in sports and the same thing transitioned into sports entertainment. It's just me. It's not a bad vibe to have. Goldberg is the man."

Breakker is set to face Duke Hudson on Tuesday's NXT 2.0. He will defend his NXT Championship against Joe Gacy at NXT In Your House.

Elsewhere during the interview, Breakker discussed the possibility of teaming with his dad or uncle. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
