Bron Breakker continues to wreak havoc.
At WWE Money in the Bank, Sami Zayn defeated Bron Breakker to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Zayn came to the ring on the July 8 episode of WWE Raw and discussed his win. He noted that he had earned respect throughout his career, and Breakker did not show him that.
Breakker interrupted Zayn and hit him with a cheap shot as he dropped the champion with a Spear. He continued to attack Zayn until they were separated. Ilja Dragunov came out, but officials held him back. He then demanded a match with Breakker, and Adam Pearce booked the match.

The two former NXT Champions then battled it out in a hard-hitting match. Breakker brought the match to a premature conclusion when he threw a chair at Dragunov's face at ringside. The chair hit Dragunov, and the referee called for the bell.

Breakker continued to attack Dragunov after the bell. Zayn came down and tried to make the save, but Breakker overpowered him. Dragunov took the fight to Breakker again, but Bron ultimately stood tall as he left both Zayn and Dragunov down.
