CM Punk will be discussed on the WWE Network soon.
So far, Something Else to Wrestle has covered some interesting topics like AJ Styles' time in Impact Wrestling and another episode was delayed because of creative concerns between WWE and the hosts Conrad Thompson and Bruce Prichard.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Thompson revealed the plan for the season finale will be an episode about CM Punk and his exit from WWE.
“It’s either the end of season one or the grand finale, I guess we’ll see, but we’re going out with a bang. We’re going to do something that a lot of people are not expecting us to do, and that is talk about CM Punk,” said Thompson.
As far as what topics will be covered, Thompson said Prichard will be speaking from personal experience.
“Bruce wasn't there for any of the lawsuit, but he was privy to the way ‘The Machine’ and specifically Vince McMahon thinks. I do want to examine a lot of the rumor and innuendo surrounding Punk’s release, and Bruce can give us a look into the mind of Vince McMahon. We’ll also talk about Bruce’s real-life experiences with CM Punk, and cover all of Punk’s run while Bruce was there,” said Thompson
In the rest of the interview which is available at SI.com, Thompson talked about the other upcoming episodes and when WWE brought Mike Tyson in for WrestleMania.
