Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. clashed in a dream match at AEW WrestleDream.
Fans have been waiting to see Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. face off again for years. The bout was set to take place. The match was set for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022, but Danielson was unable to compete due to an injury. The dream match became a reality when the two renowned technical wrestlers battled it out at AEW WrestleDream.
Sabre Jr. and Danielson battled it out in a showcase of masterful technical wrestling. They traded submission holds and brutally punished each other throughout the contest. Sabre Jr. snapped Danielson's fingers and targeted his surgically-repaired arm. Danielson honed in on Sabre Jr.'s leg, and the match turned into a battle of attrition. The two foes traded pin attempts, and they kept battling. Danielson ultimately scored the victory with two Busaiku Knees.
Danielson went to shake Sabre Jr.'s hand after the bell, but Sabre Jr. rolled out of the ring.

Jon Moxley was on commentary for the bout, and he likely racked up some more fines due to his profanity. During the match, he said Danielson likes to walk on all fours and read weird tantric sex stuff.
