Bryan Danielson is back.
'The American Dragon' made his return to All Elite Wrestling on the March 29 episode of AEW Dynamite after Kenny Omega's match with Jeff Cobb. Omega was being attacked by Blackpool Combat Club members Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta when Danielson's music hit.
At first, Danielson backed off his fellow BCC members and helped Kenny Omega up to his feet. Seconds later, Danielson blasted Omega with a signature running knee strike, which prompted the other members of the BCC to jump back in the ring and continue the assault.
An extremely intriguing turn of events as the #AmericanDragon @bryandanielson returns in the midst of this potential #BlackpoolCombatClub beatdown of @KennyOmegaManX?!

Danielson last appeared on the March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite after his AEW World Championship match with MJF at the Revolution pay-per-view. In a promo on that episode, Danielson stated that he was "going home".
In a backstage segment before Omega's match with Cobb, the Blackpool Combat Club also attacked Don Callis. According to PWInsider, Callis was legitimately injured in the segment after striking his head following a forearm from Jon Moxley.
